NFF Quality Awards.
The National Federation of Fishmongers is proud to be the organisers of the NFF NFF Quality Awards.
Only the Best
This year, the awards have evolved. They are no longer about different businesses competing against each other, but about recognising and celebrating those who are striving for excellence in their own way.
Independent fishmongers operate in many different formats and this process has been designed to reflect that. Whether large or small, coastal or inland, traditional or modern, the focus is on quality, professionalism, and the experience you deliver to your customers.
The awards are structured to recognise businesses across three levels:
- NFF Quality Award
- NFF Quality Award – Distinction
- NFF Quality Award – Excellence
This means that all businesses operating to a high standard have the opportunity to be recognised and to use that recognition to promote their business locally, through social media and press.
The entry form is straightforward to complete and should take around 20–30 minutes.
Entry deadline: 8th June 2026
If you operate more than one site (for example multiple shops or a shop and a market stall), please submit a separate entry for each location. You are welcome to copy and adapt responses where appropriate.
At the discretion of the judging panel, a small number of businesses that particularly stand out may be invited to attend the Federation’s end-of-year event at Fishmongers’ Hall.
You will receive a confirmation email once your entry has been submitted.
Terms & Conditions are below.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We look forward to seeing your entries.
Best regards,
National Federation of Fishmongers
